Hultz prize for Tunisian students

Tunisia, May 2nd, 2021 – ESPRIT, Private School of Engineering and Technologies students won 1st prize at the prestigious Hult Prize in Toronto, Canada. This award is a testament to their ingenuity as well as to ESPRIT’s commitment to preparing future-focused graduates who compete at an international level. ⠀

The students, from the Enactus ESPRIT ICT team, came 1st in both phases of the competition, competing against teams from Canada, the USA, and India. Their project, Glarina, will inspire social entrepreneurship and empower rural women in Tunisia by turning oak acorns into gluten-free flour and marketing it to the U.S.A.

This student team now has the opportunity to enhance their business skills, network, and prepare for the launch of their start-up by attending the 6-week Acceleration Program in London, followed by the UN Gala and Awards Ceremony in New York.
