Women’s Leadership
Student Experience / Entrepreneurship by Honoris Staff Writer
A group of outstanding women get an entrepreneurial workout on transforming Africa, one community at a time.
In June, a group of exceptional women entrepreneurs from 54 projects in 54 countries across Africa took part in a two-day bootcamp organised by Honoris United Universities in Morocco, with partner WIA Philanthropy. The second Women In Africa (WIA) event of its kind, the bootcamp was built on the conviction that entrepreneurship and women’s leadership are major axes to transform the African continent and have an impact on the development of communities. The women, selected from 2,000 entries, also took part in the WIA World Summit in Marrakesh on 27 and 28 June 2019.
