Graduation Ceremony of MANCOSA, a leading distance educational provider

Durban – October 14^th, 2017

MANCOSA hosted its second graduation ceremony of the year at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban. A total of 1,366 graduates from South Africa and SADC countries received recognition for their achievements. This brought the total number of graduates produced by MANCOSA for 2017 to 2,490.
A diverse community of students graduated across MANCOSA’s various program offerings – from those currently making an impact, to future innovators who are bound to reshape Africa’s growth amidst the increasing challenges and opportunities of a global era.

The charismatic and influential founder and Principal of MANCOSA, Professor Yusuf Karodia, delivered a compelling opening address to all attendees. Karodia stated that MANCOSA graduates were “empowered to be leaders, not followers” and urged graduates to act upon “the very urgent need to curb crippling poverty, address food security, ensure environmental and business sustainability, and create sustainable employment by shaping a new developmental path to ensure economic growth and raising living standards for all the peoples on the continent of Africa”. Indeed, the significance of graduating lies beyond the initial festive nature of this event.
Graduates and their families were also delighted to hear from Karodia that MANCOSA had recently joined Africa’s first-ever Pan-African private university platform. The CEO of Honoris United Universities, Mr Luis Lopez, was also present at the graduation ceremony.
