Celebrating 20 Years of EAC Casablanca and the Graduation of its 13th Class
13 May 2025 – Honoris proudly celebrates a significant milestone the École d’Architecture de Casablanca (EAC) — marking 20 years of academic excellence and the graduation of its 13th class. The celebration took place in the iconic Sacred Heart Cathedral, a setting that reflects the deep cultural and architectural heritage of Morocco.
To commemorate this occasion, EAC, in partnership with Archimedia, hosted a round table on April 29, 2025, titled: “The Architect in the City: Crossed Views on a Profession in Transformation.” This event brought together leading experts and practitioners to reflect on the evolving role of architects in shaping the Moroccan urban landscape and to engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of the profession.
In celebration of two decades of architectural education, EAC has introduced a new tradition – each graduating class will now bear the name of an architect who has made a significant contribution to building modern Morocco.
The 2025 class has been named in honor of the late Mourad Ben Embarek, a pioneer of contemporary Moroccan architecture whose visionary work continues to inspire new generations of professionals.
This symbolic gesture honors the legacy of those who have shaped the nation’s architectural identity, while instilling a sense of purpose and continuity in EAC graduates as they embark on their professional journeys.
