ESPRIT Students Excel at Africa to Silicon Valley 2024

30 October, 2024 – Students from Tunisia’s ESPRIT achieved remarkable success at the A2SV 2024 Grand Finale, sponsored by Google, competing against nearly 5,000 participants from over 1,000 universities across 48 African countries.

In a highly competitive field, the first team, made up of two ESPRIT students among four members, claimed 1st place and a $10,000 prize, while the second all-ESPRIT team secured 2nd place and won $6,000.

A2SV (Africa to Silicon Valley) is a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering high-potential African software engineers through advanced training in algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving. By partnering with top universities and leading tech companies like Google, Meta, and Bloomberg, A2SV bridges the gap between African talent and global opportunities, helping students secure positions in top-tier firms.
