Innovative Methods for Effective Learning discussed at the 2023 eLearning Africa Conference

30 May 2023 – Advancing the digital agenda on the continent to increase access to quality education is one of our key priorities, through bespoke partnerships with global EdTech leaders to fast-track innovation and increase student outcomes. In this light, we were thrilled to have Houbeb Ajmi, Managing Director of the Université Centrale Tunisia Group, speaking at the 2023 eLearning Africa Conference in Dakar, Senegal last week.

Participating in the panel on ‘Innovative Methods for Effective Learning for Higher Education Professionals’, Houbeb had the opportunity to share learnings of the recent roll-out of adaptive learning and the success of medical simulation in Honoris Health Schools in Tunisia – Université Centrale and UPSAT. Honoris has achieved remarkable progress in harnessing the power of innovation for the transformation of higher education and reimagining health education in Tunisia, scaling proven solutions that improve student learning outcomes. In January this year, the cutting-edge Honoris Medical Simulation Center, which opened in 2018 and has so far trained more than 5,000+ students and health professionals, presented leading research that demonstrates how innovative methods of delivery and medical simulation best practice accelerates student success, delivered at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare in Orlando, USA. Honoris students also have the opportunity to use the world’s leading medical adaptive learning platform, Lecturio, as part of a network-wide partnership that began with an initial cohort of over 2,000 students.
