Nile University’s Vice-Chancellor Delivers Address at the 2022 United Nations General Assembly
Nigeria, October 14th, 2022 – As part of Nigeria’s delegation to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 2022, and at the invitation of the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari CFR, Nile University of Nigeria’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dilli Dogo FNAMed, delivered a speech, speaking on the topic of “upscaling funding for higher education institutions in Nigeria.”
His speech at the Nigeria International Economic Partnership Forum, in which he emphasized the need for additional investment in Nigeria’s higher education sector in order to increase its appeal and efficacy, was well received and praised by all in attendance.
The United Nations General Assembly held its 77th session in September 2022, with the theme “A watershed moment: revolutionary solutions to interlocking concerns.” Founded in 2009, Nile University of Nigeria has long been known as one of the foremost authorities in higher education excellence in the West Africa region, known for its academic credentials and best-in-class faculties offering 26 undergraduate and 36 postgraduate programs.
