Nile University of Nigeria celebrates its 4th medical Attestation ceremony, marked by a powerful speech from its best graduating student

24 January 2026 – REGENT Business School, South Africa, a proud member of Honoris United Universities, recently hosted a hackathon in partnership with Women in AI South Africa, a non-profit supporting women in the field of artificial intelligence, and Lovable, a Swedish app-development start-up.

Under the name “LovAfrica”, the contest invited REGENT students to develop an application and present it to a jury through pitches and demos. Among 90 projects, the platform First Shift, which connects students with part-time employment opportunities, stood out and won first place.

This impact-driven entrepreneurship initiative reflects REGENT’s commitment to promoting practical learning and reinforces Honoris United Universities’ mission to bridge the employability skills gap through hands-on education.
