Red & Yellow Students Win Prestigious D&AD Pencil in London

1 September 2025 – Red & Yellow Creative School of Business students from South Africa have achieved international recognition, winning a coveted D&AD Pencil at this year’s D&AD New Blood Awards Ceremony in London.

The D&AD (Design and Art Direction) Awards are considered a global benchmark for creative excellence in design and advertising. Winning a Pencil is regarded as a career-defining milestone, representing one of the highest levels of international creative achievement.

Honoris proudly congratulates students Jaden Thompson, Nina Van Wyk, Chloe Vos, and Tyla Lottering, along with lecturers Heloise Bottomley and Liz Pienaar for their outstanding mentorship and guidance.
Red & Yellow was the only tertiary institution in South Africa to take home a D&AD Pencil this year, making this achievement even more remarkable and a testament to the exceptional talent nurtured at the school.
