Nile University of Nigeria inaugurates its new Business School
17 November 2025 – With the ambition of becoming a world-class center of excellence, Nile University of Nigeria, announced the launch of its new Business School, with a clear mission: “Redefining education to meet the needs of the 21st century workforce”.
The school will equip students with skills aligned with the economic and social priorities of Nigeria and Africa in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Its strategy aims to close the gap between education and employment, integrate public policy considerations, promote African-driven solutions, and foster leadership and entrepreneurship.
The academic offering will include simulations, case studies across key economic sectors, and experiential learning. In that matter, a new learning center will also be established in Lagos.
During the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dilli Dogo introduced Prof. Noel Tagoe, a former illustrious Oxford scholar, as the school’s inaugural Dean, an occasion for him to address his ambitions for the Nile business school : “We are committed to ensuring that everything we undertake defines the expectations of Nigerians”.
