Nile University of Nigeria holds its 4th Medical Attestation Ceremony
12 December 2025 – Nile University of Nigeria, a proud member of Honoris United Universities, celebrated its 4th Medical Attestation Ceremony, marking the induction of a new cohort of MBBS graduates into the medical profession.
In his welcome speech, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dilli Dogo emphasized on the recent license of the University’s MBBS program by UK’s General Medical Council, increasing access for students to practice beyond Nigeria’s borders.
The Attestation Lecture emphasized medical ethics, professionalism, and empathy, urging graduates to uphold the values that sustain public trust in healthcare. Graduates were formally administered the Oath of Medical Practice, received essential medical tools, and outstanding female scholars were honored with awards and scholarships.
The ceremony reaffirmed Nile University’s commitment to global-standard medical education and its contribution to strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare system.
