Nile University of Nigeria Celebrates 13th Convocation and its first PhD Law graduates

19 November 2025 – Nile University of Nigeria, a proud member of Honoris United Universities, celebrated its 13th convocation ceremony this month and took the opportunity to award Nigeria’s former president Goodluck Jonathan an honorary degree, underlining his efforts to create greater development and peace in the country.

In response, the former president Jonathan, praised Nile’s quality as well as its continued growth and affirmed that the institution played a vital role in shaping the country’s future leaders.

He also congratulated the undergraduates, for whom the ceremony was held, encouraging them to make the most of their education to transform themselves and commit to national development with integrity and discipline.

Vice-Chancellor of Nile University of Nigeria, Professor Dilli Dogo, congratulated the graduates, encouraging them to become ambitious and creative ambassadors of the school and future employers to Nile talent.

The ceremony was also attended by high-level dignitaries and former governors and several prizes were awarded to outstanding students by integral employer partners.
