Honoris Presents AI Policy Framework at UNESCO Digital Learning Week

4 September 2025 – Honoris United Universities is proud to announce that Professor Mourad Zerai represents the network at UNESCO’s Digital Learning Week, taking place from 2 to 5 September 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France this week.

Following a competitive selection process, Honoris’ proposal “From principles to practice: Honoris United Universities’ AI policy framework” was chosen for a parallel session at this prestigious global event. The presentation showcased how Honoris is embedding artificial intelligence responsibly across its network of institutions, bridging innovation, governance, and educational impact.

UNESCO Digital Learning Week is a leading platform for advancing digital education, bringing together global experts, policymakers, and practitioners. Professor Zerai’s participation contributed to vital discussions on the future of learning and highlight Honoris’ commitment to shaping equitable, innovative, and sustainable education for Africa and beyond.
