Honoris Signs MoU with the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings

During the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, the Council and Foundation for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Honoris United Universities, the first private pan-African higher education network, to increase participation and to promote research in natural sciences and economics across Africa.

École Marocaine des Sciences de l’Ingénieur (EMSI) has presented its multi-award-winning innovations to peers from around the world at the American Innovation Fair. It is the first time that a team from Morocco has taken part in the Silicon Valley fair.

Honoris United Universities Appoints Karan Khemka as Independent Board Member

Honoris is reinforcing its Board of Directors through the appointment of a new Independent Board Member, Mr. Karan Khemka, a global expert on education with over 20 years’ experience as an investor and consultant in emerging markets. His appointment brings increased diversity into the network, with an experience that will enrich the student and academic outcomes. Mr. Khemka is a distinguished speaker at international education summits and is particularly recognized for his expert insight on the importance of international education in a globalized economy.

Honoris United Universities Announces Academic Council

The Honoris Academic Council will lead the deployment of Honoris’ unique collaborative intelligence model through the co-ownership and sharing of skills and resources across member institutions within the network. The council will also direct a diverse range of programmes including international exchanges, collaborative projects as well as learning environments, physical and digital, enabling Honoris faculty and students to benefit from the sharing of ideas, real-world expertise, and multi-cultural immersion.

EMSI Research and Innovation Laboratories successfully showcase African expertise on the global stage

Honoris member institution, Ecole Marocaine des Sciences de l’Ingénieur (EMSI), brought home two gold medals at the 47th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, held this last April. They won gold for their SmarTraffic innovation, which optimizes city traffic flow intelligently, and for Smarty Factory 4.0, a multi-industry communication device for data acquisition. They also won two gold medals and a silver medal at the 22nd Edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions and Technological Innovations “Archimedes” in Moscow in March.
